Unit comes with mains cable, firewire cable & USB memory stick with all required software and installation instructions.
I have lubricated the rails and cleaned the mirror. The scan results are 1st class.
These machines will work on windows 7/8/10/11 but Nikon Scan software needs to be installed in an exact way. Supplied with all relevant software and help needed. Supplied with 3 adaptors for 35mm slide, negative 35mm, and 120 neg/pos film.
These scanners give fantastic results but are finicky to use and have to be operated in a certain way.
I prefer Nikon Scan software but 3rd party software does exist with built in drivers.
I do not use Mac's so I can't advise on drivers and comparability for Mac use I am afraid, but this is available on line.
