This is a Reel to Reel ¼ track test tape.
It is recorded in Stereo at 7½ IPS on one side and 3¾ IPS on the other.
Ideal for speed check, stereo check, fidelity check, level adjustment and head alignment.
Supplied with instructions. Recorded on a calibrated Reel to Reel Recorder.
The Level adjustment tone at 7 1/2 IFPS has a reference flux of 180 nWb/m which is the Ampex Domestic Standard ideal for consumer machines.

Note on Ref Flux.
If you do not know the ref flux of your machine
calibrate level check to levels stated.
If your ref flux is different from 180nWb/m
then adjust the desired level up or down 1db for every 60 nWb/m.
ie if your machine is 360nWb/m calibrate levels to -13db
