Teac X10/X10-r Reel Tension Microswitch
This is a direct replacement for the brake operating microswitch on the X-10 (r). The originals have a tendancy not to make a great contact and cause intermittent braking.
The switches are easy to fit after removing the rear cover. Two are often required.
