Please note this is not a domestic stereo tape sometimes refered to as 4 track (2 tracks in both directions) but is 4 tracks recorded in one direction for true 4 track cassette machines such as Tascam 144, 244, 424 etc.
The track layout is as follows:-
144 - reversed showing as 4, 3, 2, 1 (track 1 is track 4 and so on)
244 - 1, 2, 3, 4
464 - 1, 2, 3, 4
The tape works fine on a Tascam 144, just displayed differently on the unit due to the machines design.
